All prices of fronts for IKEA are calculated from a single rate per square metre that depends on the style. The area of a front is width × height rounded up to 0.1 m²: a 60×80 cm door (0.48 m²) counts as 0.5 m², so in the Gładki (flat) style it costs €89. The tables on this page are generated from the same source as the configurator and the style cards, so the price in the table is the price you will see in the cart.
How we calculate the price of a front
- The rate per m² depends on the style: flat lacquered 690 zł, milled 840-1110 zł, plywood 950 zł, natural veneers 1350 zł, glass-front 1160 zł (glass included); the shop converts it to euros automatically.
- Surcharges are added as a percentage of the front price: high gloss +15%, continuous grain +20%, 30 mm front +10%; lacquer on both sides is a fixed 350 zł (€90) per m².
- Any colour from the RAL, NCS, Farrow & Ball and ICA palettes is included, as are the holes for IKEA hinges.
- Shipping is calculated separately, based on the longest front in the order (120 cm threshold).
- A sample costs €23; on orders from €256 the code SAMPLE deducts this amount.
Example: a FAKTUM kitchen with 18 fronts
8 doors 60×70 cm, 4 doors 60×92 cm and 6 drawer fronts 60×13 cm add up to 5.95 m² after rounding. In the Gładki style this set costs about 4100 zł (approx. €1050), in the styles at 900 zł/m² (Shaker, Linea, Hampton) about 5360 zł (approx. €1375), and in oak veneer about 8040 zł (approx. €2060). Cabinets, hinges and drawer runners stay, you only pay for the fronts. The configurator calculates the exact amount for your dimensions.
