Terms and Conditions of the ogony.pl online store

§1. General provisions and Seller details

  1. The online store available at ogony.pl is operated by Konrad Łepek, conducting business under the name Ogony Konrad Łepek, address: Bolesława Prusa 1, 88-300 Mogilno, Poland, VAT ID (NIP): 5911723697, EU VAT number (VAT-UE): PL5911723697, statistical number (REGON): 529123026, entered in the Central Registration and Information on Business (CEIDG), hereinafter referred to as the "Seller" or the "Service Provider".
  2. Contact with the Seller: email kontakt@ogony.pl, telephone: +48 780 778 615. Address for correspondence and returns: Bolesława Prusa 1, 88-300 Mogilno, Poland.
  3. The Seller is at the same time the Service Provider of services supplied by electronic means within the Store (including the front configurator, contact forms and quotation forms).
  4. These Terms and Conditions set out the rules for using the Store, placing orders, concluding and performing sales contracts, as well as the rules for withdrawing from a contract and the complaints procedure.
  5. The Store's business consists in the sale of furniture fronts and accessories made to measure for IKEA furniture systems (including METOD, FAKTUM, PAX, BESTÅ, PLATSA) and related products.

§2. Definitions

  1. Seller / Service ProviderOgony Konrad Łepek, Bolesława Prusa 1, 88-300 Mogilno, Poland, NIP 5911723697, REGON 529123026.
  2. Customera natural person, legal person or organisational unit placing an order in the Store.
  3. Consumera Customer who is a natural person performing a legal act not directly related to their business or professional activity.
  4. Sole trader with consumer rightsa natural person concluding a contract directly related to their business activity, where the contract is not of a professional nature for that person.
  5. Goodsan item offered for sale in the Store.
  6. Made-to-measure Goodsnon-prefabricated Goods manufactured to the Customer's specification or serving to meet their individualised needs (including fronts cut to size and lacquered in a chosen colour).
  7. Contracta contract for the sale of Goods concluded between the Customer and the Seller through the Store.
  8. Business daysMonday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

§3. Placing orders and conclusion of the contract

  1. Orders are placed through the configurator and basket available in the Store, or on the basis of an individual quotation prepared by the Seller.
  2. The Customer provides the data necessary to fulfil the order and specifies the parameters of the Goods (including dimensions, colour and system).
  3. Placing an order and paying for it constitutes conclusion of the Contract. The Seller confirms acceptance of the order by electronic means.
  4. Given the nature of Made-to-measure Goods, the Customer is responsible for the correctness of the parameters provided (in particular the dimensions). Before production, the Seller may submit a specification for confirmation.

§4. Prices and payments

  1. Prices in the Store are given in Polish zloty (PLN) and include VAT (gross prices). For markets served in euro, prices are presented in EUR according to the currency settings of the given market.
  2. The binding price is the price shown next to the Goods (or in the quotation) at the moment the order is placed.
  3. The available payment methods are presented during the ordering process. Fulfilment of the order begins once payment has been credited.

§5. Fulfilment and delivery

  1. The Goods are made to the specific dimensions and parameters indicated by the Customer. The standard lead time is approximately 7 weeks from the crediting of payment, unless agreed otherwise.
  2. Delivery is made on a pallet. The delivery cost depends on the dimensions of the consignment and the country of delivery, and is presented before the order is placed.
  3. The Seller informs the Customer when the consignment has been dispatched.

§6. Right of withdrawal

  1. A Consumer and a Sole trader with consumer rights may withdraw from a distance Contract within 14 days from the day on which they took possession of the Goods, without giving a reason.
  2. To exercise the right of withdrawal, an unequivocal statement must be submitted, for example by email to kontakt@ogony.pl or in writing to: Bolesława Prusa 1, 88-300 Mogilno, Poland. The model form attached to these Terms and Conditions may be used, but this is not obligatory.
  3. The Seller returns the payments received within 14 days of receiving the statement of withdrawal. The Seller may withhold the refund until the Goods are received or proof of their return is provided.
  4. The direct cost of returning the Goods is borne by the Consumer. The Goods should be returned to: Bolesława Prusa 1, 88-300 Mogilno, Poland.
  5. Exception. Pursuant to Article 38(3) of the Polish Act of 30 May 2014 on Consumer Rights, the right of withdrawal does not apply to non-prefabricated Goods manufactured to the consumer's specification or serving to meet their individualised needs. This applies in particular to fronts made to measure and lacquered in an individually chosen colour.

§7. Complaints (lack of conformity of the Goods with the contract)

  1. The Seller is liable for the conformity of the Goods with the contract on the terms set out in the Polish Act of 30 May 2014 on Consumer Rights (the chapter concerning lack of conformity of goods with the contract).
  2. A complaint may be submitted by email to kontakt@ogony.pl or in writing to: Bolesława Prusa 1, 88-300 Mogilno, Poland. Please include the Customer's details, a description of the non-conformity and the request.
  3. The Seller examines the complaint within 14 days of receiving it and informs the Customer how it has been resolved.
  4. Where the Goods do not conform to the contract, the Consumer may request repair or replacement of the Goods and, subsequently (on statutory terms), a price reduction or withdrawal from the contract.

§8. Out-of-court complaint handling and redress

  1. A Consumer may use out-of-court methods of handling complaints and pursuing claims, including by contacting the district (municipal) consumer ombudsman or the regional inspector of the Trade Inspection.
  2. The EU online dispute resolution (ODR) platform was closed on 20 July 2025. In cross-border disputes, assistance is provided by the European Consumer Centre (konsument.gov.pl), and information on out-of-court redress in the EU is available at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.

§9. Intellectual property

All content, photographs, designs and materials published in the Store are protected by law and are the property of the Seller or are used under appropriate authorisation. Copying, distributing or using them without the Seller's consent is prohibited.

§10. Services supplied by electronic means

  1. The Service Provider supplies services by electronic means free of charge, including making the configurator and forms available. Use requires a device with internet access and an up-to-date browser.
  2. The Customer is prohibited from supplying content of an unlawful nature.

§11. Personal data

The controller of personal data is the Seller. The rules for processing personal data are described in the Privacy Policy.

§12. Final provisions

  1. Matters not governed by these Terms and Conditions are subject to Polish law, including the Civil Code and the Act on Consumer Rights. This does not deprive a Consumer of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence.
  2. The Seller may amend these Terms and Conditions for important reasons. Orders placed before an amendment are subject to the Terms and Conditions in force at the time the order was placed.
  3. These Terms and Conditions apply from 25 June 2026.
  4. This document is a translation of the Polish version of the Terms and Conditions. In the event of any discrepancy between the language versions, the Polish version prevails.
