Fronts for the IKEA FAKTUM system

Fronts for FAKTUM start at 176.81 EUR/m² incl. VAT in the Flat style. In practice a 60x70 cm door, which in actual size is 596x695 mm, has 0.4142 m², billed as 0.45 m² (we count in 0.05 m² steps and round up), so 79.57 EUR per piece. Styles such as Shaker, Monako or Linea cost 230.62 EUR/m² incl. VAT, and oak and walnut veneers 345.94 EUR/m² incl. VAT. Yes. Our fronts are designed specifically for IKEA systems. Hinge drillings for 35 mm hinges follow FAKTUM standards - unscrew the old, screw on ours. If in doubt, send a photo of the cabinet and we'll verify together.

Easiest way: measure existing fronts with a tape measure. If you have FAKTUM cabinets, our configurator knows the standard dimensions - just pick the model. You can also send photos and we'll help determine the dimensions.

7 weeks from payment confirmation. We make each front to your dimensions - it's not a stock item. Order with a buffer before installation.

Order a sample - you'll see the material and colour in person, in your own light. Before production we confirm dimensions via email. If a front is defective or doesn't match the order - we repair, replace, or refund.

Yes. We send front samples - you'll check material and colour against your wall, in your light. Screen colours can lie, samples don't. The sample cost is deducted from the production order with code SAMPLE (orders over PLN 1000, ~ €250).

Yes, that's our specialty. IKEA discontinued FAKTUM in 2014, but the cabinets still serve. We make fronts exactly to FAKTUM dimensions - you don't have to throw out the whole kitchen.

No. We drill for standard 35 mm cup hinges - the same as IKEA originals. Your hinges should work. If they're worn, we recommend replacing them during the swap.

FAKTUM was sold until 2014. Easiest way: look inside the cabinet - there should be a sticker with the system name on the side panel. You can also send a photo of the hinge and we'll recognize it right away.

IKEA discontinued FAKTUM in 2014 and no longer makes these fronts, so the only route is a made-to-measure replacement. That is exactly what we do: fronts for old FAKTUM carcasses, in the original size grid and with drillings for your own hinges, so you replace the front alone and the cabinets stay in place. You pick the sizes from the ready FAKTUM presets in the configurator, and prices start at 176.81 EUR/m² incl. VAT. You order as many fronts as you need, you do not have to do the whole kitchen at once.

FAKTUM doors came in widths 15, 20, 30, 40, 45, 50 and 60 cm and heights 35, 57, 70, 92 and 125 cm, and drawer fronts in widths 30, 40, 45, 50, 60 and 80 cm with heights 9, 13, 18, 25, 31, 57 and 70 cm. The actual size is the nominal one minus 4 mm, so 60 cm means 596 mm, 70 cm means 695 mm and 92 cm means 918 mm. In METOD you subtract 3 mm, not 4, and that is one of the reasons why METOD fronts do not fit FAKTUM carcasses. The heights 70 and 92 cm and the width 50 cm are typical for FAKTUM only, METOD does not have them, and 45 cm appears in METOD only in the extended doors for wall cabinets. LIDINGÖ and STÅT are framed fronts; our equivalents are Shaker and Hampton (both 230.62 EUR/m² incl. VAT). ABSTRAKT is a flat front, without milling, in a lacquered version, so the Flat style replaces it (176.81 EUR/m² incl. VAT) in the colour and gloss level you choose. ÄDEL came in wood and lacquered versions, so we match it to what you have in the kitchen: Oak veneer (345.94 EUR/m² incl. VAT) or lacquer. Let us take a kitchen with 18 fronts: 8 doors 60x70 cm, 4 wall cabinet doors 60x92 cm and 6 drawer fronts 60x13 cm. Converted to the actual sizes that is 5.95 m². In the cheapest Flat style (176.81 EUR/m² incl. VAT) such a set costs about 1050 EUR, in the styles at 230.62 EUR/m² incl. VAT (Shaker, Monako, Linea) about 1370 EUR, and in oak veneer at 345.94 EUR/m² incl. VAT about 2060 EUR. The carcasses, hinges and runners stay yours, you pay for the fronts only.

Yes. The original IKEA fronts are 16 mm and ours are 18 mm, but the installation is identical, because the thickness changes neither the front size nor the spacing of the hinge drillings. The front projects 2 mm further from the face of the carcass and that is the only visible difference, the gaps between the fronts stay the same. An 18 mm board is stiffer, which matters with tall doors of 92 and 125 cm. If you want to see the material and the colour before ordering a whole kitchen, take a front sample for 23 EUR.
