Everything you need to know before ordering fronts for IKEA systems
Do your fronts fit my IKEA cabinets?
Yes. We make fronts suitable for all current IKEA systems: METOD, FAKTUM, PAX, PLATSA, BESTÅ. The holes for IKEA hinges are drilled with a precise CNC machine, so you screw the fittings exactly where the old fronts were. No modifications are needed.
How long does it take to process an order?
7 weeks from the payment being credited. We produce each front from scratch, to your dimensions, in our workshop in Bydgoszcz. Nothing from stock, nothing off the shelf.
What is the difference between a lacquered and a veneered front?
Lacquered: uniform color (Farrow & Ball, NCS, RAL), perfectly smooth surface.
Veneered: thin layer of natural wood covered with polyurethane lacquer. Each front has a unique wood grain pattern.
Care in both cases is the same: a damp cloth, no abrasive detergents.
What colors are available for lacquered fronts?
Practically any. 150+ Farrow & Ball shades, full NCS and RAL palette. If you have a specific color code, we'll match it.
Can I order a custom size?
Yes, up to 280 cm in height. Extending PAX by 20 cm, shortening METOD doors to an unusual height, making a discontinued FAKTUM front, fronts for non-IKEA cabinets. No problem.
Can I order a sample before purchasing?
Yes. A sample costs €23, which we deduct from the order for fronts with code SAMPLE (orders over PLN 1000, ~ €250). It's a rectangle with your chosen finish (lacquer color or veneer type) in its actual texture. This is the most reliable way to see the color live, in your own lighting.
How are the fronts packaged for shipping?
Euro pallet, each front individually wrapped in protective film and foam, corners protected with cardboard. Before shipping, we manually check the dimensions, color, and holes. You will receive tracking information via email immediately after dispatch.
Can I return the order?
The fronts are custom-made to your individual dimensions, so they are non-returnable (under Article 16(c) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, implemented in Article 38(3) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act). Therefore, we strongly encourage you to order a sample before finalizing your order to ensure the color and finish are to your liking.
