How do I order fronts?
In the configurator on the website you choose the style, IKEA system, dimensions and colour; the price is calculated instantly and the front goes to your cart. You can also send a list of dimensions to kontakt@ogony.pl or call +48 780 778 615. We reply with a PDF quote.
How much do the fronts cost?
The price depends on the style and surface area, and the shop converts it to euros automatically. A 60×80 cm door costs €89 in the Gładki style, €108 with a milled handle, €122 in birch plywood or €173 in oak veneer. The configurator calculates the exact price.
How long does it take?
7 weeks from payment, plus 3-7 days of transport within the EU. Samples ship within 10-14 days.
Can I order a sample before buying?
Yes. A sample front costs €23 (lacquer, veneer or milled) with free shipping. On orders from €256 the code SAMPLE deducts this amount from your order.
Do you make fronts in custom sizes?
Yes, every front is made to your dimensions to the millimetre. The configurator accepts any width and height, so the fronts also fit unusual cabinets and built-ins.
What colours are available for lacquered fronts?
Any colour from the RAL, NCS, Farrow & Ball and ICA palettes, with no surcharge for the colour. Finish: matte, satin or high gloss (+15%).
Which veneers are available?
Oak, Smoked Oak, American Walnut, Muskato Burl and Silver Burl, plus birch and pine plywood. Other veneers on request.
What are fronts with continuous grain?
The grain pattern is matched between neighbouring fronts so the whole run looks like a single board. Surcharge: +20% on veneered fronts.
What are the fronts made of?
The base is an 18 mm MDF board, lacquered in your colour or covered with natural veneer. Plywood fronts are made of high-quality birch or pine plywood.
Which IKEA systems do the fronts fit?
METOD (kitchens from 2014), FAKTUM (kitchens up to 2014), PAX (wardrobes), BESTÅ (sideboards and TV units) and PLATSA. We use the right dimensions and drilling for each system.
Are the fronts compatible with IKEA hardware?
Yes. The 35 mm hinge cup holes (13 mm deep) follow the IKEA standard, so IKEA hinges (e.g. UTRUSTA) fit without modification. For drilling yourself we also sell a DIY template.
Do IKEA METOD fronts fit FAKTUM?
No. METOD and FAKTUM differ in front dimensions and hole spacing. We make FAKTUM fronts to the old dimensions, so the old kitchen keeps its cabinets.
Where do I get the exact dimensions?
Measure your existing fronts or give us the cabinet dimensions from the IKEA planner and we will apply the standard gaps. If in doubt, send photos and measurements to kontakt@ogony.pl and we will check them before production.
How is delivery handled?
Fronts are delivered on a pallet by a freight carrier: €80 for a euro pallet (all fronts up to 120 cm) or €140 for an oversized pallet (any front over 120 cm). Samples and pegboards ship free of charge.
Do you ship abroad?
Yes, to 17 EU countries: Poland, Germany, Austria, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. We do not ship to the UK, Norway or Switzerland.
Can I return an item?
Standard products (e.g. pegboards) can be returned within 14 days of receipt. Made-to-measure fronts and samples in your chosen colour are produced for your order and are non-returnable unless faulty or not as ordered.
What if I need to make a complaint?
Write to kontakt@ogony.pl with your order number and photos. We handle complaints within 14 days; if accepted, we repair, replace or refund. Fronts come with a 2-year statutory warranty and a 5-year guarantee on moisture resistance.
Do I need a professional to install the fronts?
No. The fronts come pre-drilled, so installation means screwing on the hinges and adjusting them, just like original IKEA fronts. You will find guides on our blog.
Do you help with kitchen design?
Yes. We advise on style and colour, check your list of dimensions from the IKEA planner and prepare a ready cart of fronts. Write to kontakt@ogony.pl.
Do you work with interior designers?
Yes, our Designer Zone offers architects and design studios samples, quotes based on the project and terms of cooperation.
Do you make made-to-measure kitchens (not IKEA)?
Yes, besides fronts for IKEA we also make made-to-measure kitchen furniture. Write to us and we will prepare a quote based on your project.
